Miaou Chaton was established in January 2014. The word “Miaou Chaton” is French. Its literal meaning is "Meow Kitten", but the owner of the shop likes to translate it as, "The Cat's Meow." Miaou Chaton first started selling its products in 2014 and currently has over 1000 sales.

When Miaou Chaton first opened, products consisted of custom handmade jewelry that resembled miniature sweets. After some time, Miaou Chaton's main product consisted of custom handmade decoden cases. These products resemble inedible sweet-like desserts that are very eye-catching. Most decoden artists utilize plastic cabochons to create their art. Miaou Chaton stands out from the rest by utilizing polymer clay to create handmade pieces. These clay pieces resemble sugar cookies of real food, characters, and miniature realistic figures of sweets and food.

As of 2022, Miaou Chaton is now designing and selling handmade stickers for journaling and stationery crafts. Stickers are sweets themed and include a cute little bear. This bear is inspired by the owner’s fur baby, Kuma. You can read below to know more about the owner and Kuma!
